Woke up about 6:30 today....can tell it's not getting light so early. I walked to Waffle House and back, then gathered stuff for mail, groceries, etc. Got letter together to cancel Aetna policy after setting up one with Manhatten Life yesterday w Michael Fleming. also mailed Bill/Elizabeth's beach check and registration for the fan in the kitchen, which has a pitiful light. Got cards at Kroger and some groceries at Whole Foods. Got home to realize I didn't have my Canterbury cross necklace on....I thought I had been aware of it on my walk to WH, but calls to WH, Kroger, and WF have not turned up anything. Called DCCU also, and tomorrow will re-walk the route. Did go back to all driving locations after I got home, to no avail. The chain was so strong I find it hard to believe it broke w/o my being aware of it. I have checked among bed stuff, clothes I have worn, etc. I don't remember any jerky movements which could have caught it and broken the chain. It has shown up before after I lost it...once under kitchen rug when I moved it for vacuuming, so I will maintain hope for now. At some point, can call Judith Gott and see what she thinks, and see if she could make me a replica....it wouldnt' be the same, but since I lost the Bess bracelet, I kind of feel bad....Linda and CLiff will both be disappointed...another quiet night, and Monk for the first time in several weeks.
108.0 lb Lost so far: 16.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
