another may gray morning, I have to remember to savor the cool mornings because it will get hot all day soon enough.
day 18, 149 was the highest sustained average heart rate. showed this weekend's numbers to my friend. he flat out told me if I hadn't been tracking in an app, he wouldn't believe me. nice to know the trust is there. lol yes, I gave him crap for it. he always has an answer, but I still bet him he can't do the whole thirty minutes in the pool. for context, there's no way I can run thirty minutes either at speed. but it's a fun challenge.

puppy class last night, Shasta only, she is a very good dog. mostly listened and I handed her off to a 7 year old girl who was shy about things until she had her own dog to work with. it's a good way for both parents and kids to figure out their kids can control a well trained dog.

did my stuff after, a little pressed for time, but was done by 9. makes for a good sleep, that's for sure. i have rarely had issues sleeping after a hard workout, but I don't use caffeine or anything either and try to go for exhaustion.

I'm guardedly optimistic that Hogan is doing better. he's settled into having my room as his own domain. slowly but surely we go.

muscle up, blob down, upper back is still a little sore from the weekend. all good. that's what we want.

Blue skies and breezy here, with an expected high of 94°F. You're doing great, I'm impressed, but I don't need physical evidence to believe you. 😁

lol, I don't know if he was teasing or being a butthead, but we're still friends. I think it's because he's 6'2" and ~235 and doesn't always think I'm capable. good guy though.
