Late logging this morning. Needed to decompress last night after vet visit. Telling myself things will be fine while we work through the process. really need prayers for a good outcome. first course is strict confinement which means no walking and very little movement. hard on both of us. meds seem to be doing their job. I need to start doing mine while it's still morning.

day 7 of the challenge. I took last night off, not going to worry about it. Needed the break, went to bed early, slept through until almost 8 this morning. going to swim today and work on one of the little spaces I'm creating in the yard. goal at this point is to make things look fabulous spending nothing except my time.

anyways, blob down, muscle holding, water holding so fully hydrated. we'll work on that one and start sweating now.

I walked Shasta alone tonight. The number of people that came up and were concerned about where the other two dogs were was really touching. A neighbor who is a physical therapist suggested a consult with an animal chiropractor before we get into surgeries and what not, so I will be looking into that tomorrow. Shasta did amazing on her own. I wasn’t sure how she would do as she tends to be a scaredy cat, but she held heel the entire time and walked with confidence. Nice to see how well she’s progressed.

Sweet fur babies! I think chiropractic & even acupuncture are great for animals too! Maybe aqua-therapy? I know my emergency vet offers it (I've seen pics) but my regular vet doesn't. I have no idea what the cost would be, but it's heartbreaking to see them ill. We spent almost $800 at the ER for a UTI!! My regular vet wouldve been 1/3 of that. But we do what we have to. Prayers for Hogan!
