Polynomia's Journal, 01 April 2022

This is kinda discouraging.
I have followed my diet perfectly. I do Keto and eat once a day, and make sure I don't overdo the fat or calories in my diet and stay below 20 carbs (often lower).
I have measured it and have been in ketosis all along, so there's no reason I shouldn't be losing weight, and definitely no reason I should be gaining it.
Maybe that big drop last week was just a lot of water that I randomly lost that day and then gained back again.
Hopefully next weigh-in will go in the right direction again.
I'm not quitting!
130.5 lb Lost so far: 14.1 lb.    Still to go: 11.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Diet Calendar Entry for 01 April 2022:
439 kcal Fat: 34.00g | Prot: 11.00g | Carb: 18.00g.   Snacks/Other: Easis Marcipanbrød. more...
gaining 1.9 lb a week

Don't worry about it! Losing weight is a marathon, not a sprint, and the most important part of a weight loss journey is not the actual weight loss, but the new lifestyle that you gain. It's like life, it's not about the destination, but the journey and the friends you make along the way 😄 If a diet works for you, and by that I mean that you enjoy eating like that, stay on it. It's about incremental steps, if you can improve 1% a day, you are well on your way! I wish you luck, and hope the best for you!

Thank you. I'm still hovering around the same weight, so probably I just hit a plateau and need to be patient. I will stick to the same diet and hopefully it will start moving again at some point in a not too distant future.

Do not use a keto diet, it’s short term and doesn’t really remove fat just water weight. I would recommend just eating low calorie dense foods, if you can afford I would highly recommend Greg Doucette’s anabolic cookbook. But don’t get discouraged!

Focus on your balance between fat, carp and protein. Max 20-30 g carp or day. Daily: carp 5% Protein 25% Fat 75% Use fats as butter, cheese olive oil,and animal fat.

No do not focus on macros the main thing is calories in and calories out if you’re burning more calories than your consuming you’re gonna lose weight it’s thermodynamics you can’t break the laws of thermodynamics also remember to have 0,8-1 gram of protein per pound of body weight
