When you watch the shows on TV of people who've had bariatric surgery they gloss over a lot of the details. I can see from your journals there's a lot to deal with. Even though you may not feel like it all the time, you really are doing great with it. Keep it up, I'm sure it'll keep getting better as you heal and your body adjusts. The end result will be worth all the struggle, pain, and difficulty. :)

The pain isn't so bad. The biggest strugles are mental and emotional. There's no option for 'cheating'. Your stomach size won't let you. I understand people can gain weight after the surgery but that is many months out and, from what I understand, it takes an effort, many decisions to just eat all the wrong things, even if they can't eat as much of it as they used to. I've no plans to gain weight. For me this is like when I quit smoking 24 years ago. A complete change of lifestyle, how I react to situations, etc. Food used to be a friend, something I used in a social setting. Then it was an enemy, something that always put on weight. Now, it's just fuel. Thank you for the encouragement. I appreciate it.
