My doctor put me on Phentermine last Tuesday to curb my appetite and try to reduce my late night snacking on junk food. Over the past week I have noticed a huge difference in appetite and cravings. I have not craved junk food, I have been satisfied with reasonable portions of food with meals, and my between meal snacking has been minimal. The prescription is intended to be a short term tool to see progress and "jump start" my weight loss journey.

I told him I feel like my overeating, and bad eating, may be tied to deeper rooted mental or emotional issues, because I've lost weigh before and have been at a much more comfortable size, so I don't understand why I have such a problem with will power. Regardless, I hope I can take the weight off and keep it off because I want to be the best version of myself for my family.
312.8 lb Lost so far: 43.2 lb.    Still to go: 12.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
