Post op 15 days. Down almost 20 pounds. Yes, I should be ecstatic but I have it in my head that I should lose 50 pounds this first month. I'm so nervous that I'm going to be a slow-pokey loser because I've always been very very slow about losing any weight and very very fast about putting it on.

Have a bad cough, courtesy of something my daughter brought home and spread around. Also, am still tired from operation. I want to go out today, just walk around. Husband says he'll go with me. I'm getting cabin fever. I should be up and about more, but my back gives me a lot of trouble. Want this weight OFF, so I can do something about it.
323.6 lb Lost so far: 18.4 lb.    Still to go: 193.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Twenty pounds is a great start. Just keep going and it will happen.

Thank you. It is a great start. Discovered why I was feeling so peckish. My BP was freakishly low. Will have to talk to my primary care physician about going off the BP meds. So 20 pounds can do a lot in a little bit of time.
