No change in weight today. Good news, my running shoes should be delivered tomorrow. Hopefully they fit well, else I'll have to wait a little longer waiting for another size to come in. Good thing Shoebuy.com has free shipping! I managed to save $28 using an online coupon found at Retailmenot.com. I never, ever, ever check out online without at least first searching for an online coupon. Me and Google? BFFs!

Still have this stupid cold. It doesn't bother me so much, except in the morning - stuffy nose and my chest feels as congested as it had when I was a smoker 6 years ago.

Looking into trees to plant when we get our new house. I don't want a fruit tree because of the constant clean up of possible rotting fruit. Nut trees on the other hand... that I could deal with. Looking into pecans and almonds. Stuff that I could use!

Another week or two before we close on the new house, and then it's PAINT PAINT PAINT! That house needs a LOT of interior paint work! Trying to get the painting done before we get new carpets installed.

This is probably my last weekend at this house to "relax" -- which really isn't relaxing because I busted my tail last weekend putting plants in the ground and cleaning up yard debris in anticipation of putting our own house up for sale. I still have a lot of work to do!

Will also have to keep a special eye on my food intake today. Hubby is making low-carb crab cakes for dinner tonight. The last batch he made was pretty good, but it needed some tweaking. (I wound up eating 3 anyway.) Waiting for my mother to recover from neck surgery so I can badger her for my grandmother's Maryland Crab Soup recipe. Every so-called recipe that I've found online doesn't match up to my grandmother's (who has lived most of her life in Baltimore, MD) and it's *authentic* Maryland Crab Soup. Not let's-make-up-a-recipe-and-call-it Maryland Crab Soup.
