Back on low carb today. I will be weighing in every Sunday but being gentle with myself since I am breastfeeding. I am shooting to keep my net carbs around 50 net carbs daily instead of 15.

Breastfeeding is tough. You hear the stories about weight dropping off people while breastfeeding but that wasn’t my experience. Take it easy on yourself. Slow loss is always best

The people that drop like that have their nutrition figured out. The last two times I breastfed, I gained a ton of weight, BUT I was using it as an excuse to binge, eating no less than twice my daily calorie recommendations on any given day. This time I'm listening to my body.

I’m dealing with that now; 20w pregnant with #3. With baby #2, I decided milk shakes would be appropriate nutrition and definitely paid for that when I threw my back out when she was 4months old. Definitely trying to eat better and keeping up running with this baby. We got this! Good luck with your little one!

Mine was Oreos. 😂😂 I did research this time about low carb/keto over this final pregnancy and LOST 50 lbs (under Dr supervision of course) over the pregnancy. Now I'm balancing calories and carb intake to maximize milk and minimize sugar and processed crap. Best of luck to you, Momma! Stay strong!
