Enjoying ever single mile of bike riding outdoors. Will start commuting to work by bike sometime next month when the weather gets better and that will help burn some extra calories besides my outdoor evening cycling training. Weather still kind of blah here in Indiana. Too cold in the mornings and sometimes it rains during the day. Very unpredictable. Looking forward to have a great Summer and accomplish my goals. :)

That sounds like an awesome plan. How far do you live from where you work?

Hi Blue,
It will be roughly 7 miles each way. But I can make it about 9 miles longer by taking the long way. I did this 2 years ago and thats whats got me started with cycling seriously. Back then I was about 225 and that Summer I went down to 200 and scontinued losing until now. But last year because of work issues I couldn't ride my bike to work. Hoping not to have any problems this year. Round trip it will be around 13 miles for the commute and then I do every evening a cycling training of at least 25 miles sometimes 30 miles and on the weekends I do a big ride of 30+ miles.

I'm impressed! That sounds like a lot, but if you did it before, you can definitely do it again!

Yeah...At first it was hard to do it every day but when I saw the results I wanted to keep doing it. Now I do it not only for fitness but because I really enjoy going out there and riding with my group I have met a bunch of nice people + it is so fun. This year I am going to watch my eating. Last year because I was biking so much I was just eating whatever..I was able to maintain and fluctuate up and down about 7 pounds but didnt lose any weight really. Hoping to change that this year and continue eating as healthy as possible. I should be able to go down to my goal in the next 3 or 4 months. Hopefully! :)
