Water weight is still a little higher than normal, but trending back down. Did our new "long" walk of 3.6 miles last night with no major drama. Did learn that "machete man" is a known figure around these parts and best to avoid. Super, at least my instincts were spot on to move away. Duh. Took some pics but somewhat dissatisfied with them. Dogs were antsy and pulling me, still, the red flower is pretty amazing. Will try and swim today. BF may come over tonight, we'll see, his life is nuts, too.

Walked into an urgent data call the moment I arrived at my desk. Just finished initial response. Note to never ever come out here without being armed with caffeine. Trying to work a short day, but recognizing that's probably not going to happen. Why can't things chill until Tuesday? Then you sit back and think, yeah, I'm stressed about this minor stuff, but I know I have a roof over my head and food in the fridge. Get over it, girl. You have it pretty good.

I did order Costco last night so most things were in stock. New food for the weekend! Yay!
