No matter what else this day brings me, it's a good day. The toilet in my single bathroom house has been acting funny the last couple of days and it quit working this morning. Thankfully, I figured it out quickly and it seems to be fixed without calling a plumber on the weekend. Life is good.

Weight is up from the sodium fest of yesterday's pizza. Man, that sucker was tasty for a frozen pizza. They got nothing on my favorite pizzeria, but this was good. 900 mg a slice and I ate two.

Swam yesterday, did pretty good until the last three minutes when I got a cramp in my toe of all things. Happens with fins sometimes. Just couldn't make it work, so gave it up and hit the bubbles instead. No walk. Swim set incomplete, but here are the numbers for the record. 26 minutes, 699 strokes, 10.3METs - hey, it looks like I was actually working until I stopped - average heart rate 146. 11 minutes in warm up, 13 between cardio and peak. So a decent swim even if it was abbreviated.

I have less than five miles to do to make the monthly challenge. Easy peasy. They'll get me next month, I'm sure. I've been hanging out around the same burn rate for about a year. I should work on that. Time to get moving, that toilet project ate an hour without me realizing it. Stuff to do, enjoy the weekend.

Blob says "mmm, pizza good." Muscle says "bite me, blob." We'll see who wins tomorrow.

I'm hardly amazing, just stubborn and cheap. I've paid triple overtime to a plumber once to snake a drain on Thanksgiving weekend. Let's just say I was unimpressed with the skillset, but his business model was brilliant. You're very sweet though.
