I keep getting locked out of my account, so not happy about that. There is some ongoing problem with this site and iPad Safari, which they seem unable to sort out. There is no app to use instead, which is a bit backward and some of the browser features do not translate on iOS so I am unable to fill in the little questionnaire for the challenge I am doing without firing up the PC. Ok - little petty rant over. If that was my biggest problem, then I'd be lucky. Biggest boost of the year so far - I'm out of the 200s!!!! Yay!!! Happy dancing all over the house! It's been a very long time since that happened. I am now using a different app to track my progress - I didn't cotton to tracking on here as I am used to the WW one and this one doesn't do points. The new one does and it is more flexible than WW so have cancelled with them as I don't follow their diet, despite what it says on here. I tried to change that, but I would have to start again with everything I've logged so I'm not bothering. I come here for the support, which is brilliant. It's actually not raining/hailing/sleeting so far today for a change - the sun has got his hat on although it's a bit parky outside (chilly). I feel so fortunate when I read about the temperatures and conditions some of you are enduring at the moment. I shall bask in the brightness while it lasts and hope that this entry actually posts and doesn't get swallowed up in the ether. Have a wonderful weekend everyone. :0D

Crystalwitch4, you are under 200. How much did you lose and how did you do it? I'm knew to this site and I've been trying to lose for awhile. Not doing well. I quit WW after 9 months of doing all they said and only losing 20 lbs. Congratulations on getting out of the 200's, btw. :)

Hi, welcome and thank you! I started low carbing at the end of August last year and so far have lost 48lbs. If you go to my profile I think you can click on my weight history to see my progress so far. I have really taken to this w.o.e. and my intention is to continue with it into maintenance in the future. There are some low carbers on here who have lost faster than I have in a similar period of time and huge kudos to them; some of them eat less carbs daily than my 30g average, some exercise a lot more than I do (which wouldn't be too hard as I don't exert myself very often!) and I think that age may also play a part, but I really am not worried how long it takes to get where I want to go (which is a bit further than my target is currently showing on here). Low carbing is not everyone's cup of tea, but there are many ways to achieve weight loss via this method - just google it and you will see; I adhere closely to Low Carb Real Food personally. I'll inbox you a couple of links that got me started if you like so that you can begin to make your own choices. :0)

Congrats on being in the 100’s!! I keep getting kicked off too and it wont let me sign back on for awhile. I copy my posts now in case I lose them!

It's a right royal pain isn't it?!! I know it's pretty small on a cosmic scale - still doesn't stop me getting grumpy though!!! Thanks for your comment. :0)
