Another success this week. I'm now well under 110kgs - my first goal and my next goal was to jog 2ks non stop in the next couple of weeks - but I did that today. In fact, I've done it twice this week.

In a call this week with a client we were discussing being responsible - and I got that for many years, I simply have not been responsible around my weight. It's not a conversation around right or wrong, its about what works - and what doesn't. And being overweight no longer works for me

A program I was in said that "responsibility begins with the willingness to be cause in the matter" and I can see I just wasn't' willing to cause a transformation in my weight. Until now. It's funny, but there are areas of my life where I have been very responsible, and achieved great success - but never with my weight. I think I had this conversation going on in my head that ran along the lines of "why bother" or "doesn't natter how hard Ive tried it never changes". So even though I have been "at cause" before - the truth is I wasn't "willing". I was resentful, annoyed, embarrassed, resigned. So I would give up

Looking back to Feb this year, and the progress I've made, I can see that I took on being responsible for my weight, that I was finally willing to do what it takes to shed the kilos. Combined with some realistic goal setting, and sticking to my word, slowly but surely the results are starting to show. I gave up being resentful, I gave up being resigned, I stopped feeling embarrassed and I took actions that were aligned with my goals.

So, my question is, are you willing to be responsible for your weight goals this week...?

BTW - today I jogged 2.5ks. I'm felling a little bit pleased with myself :-)
