So excited!!! Five days and down 14#. I totally understand that it's mainly water weight and all that crap, but I don't care. 14#!!! Plus, the day I started this, I cut out pop and have been drinking a good amount of water (still not nearly enough), so I am sure that has a big part of the loss also. For the first time in my life, I have actually had willpower this week. I feel like this is it. This is the time that I am going to actually lose and get to my goal (or very close to goal). I went out to eat last night and did not stray (other than not realizing that bbq sauce has a shit ton of carbs). Tonight, I am sure we will go to dinner and I will do the same. No falling off the wagon because it is so hard to get back on. I am a little nervous about Super Bowl this Sunday. There will be a crap load of food. My plan is to stick with drinking Diet Coke and Rum and eating off the meat and cheese tray along with the veggie tray. They usually have shrimp also, so that will be on my plate too! I can't wait! Go Seahawks!!!

I need to get a tape measure tonight while I am in town and I will get measurements to follow my progress also. I am also going to make my grocery and menu list tonight or tomorrow to make sure I have a plan in place for the next week or two.
310.0 lb Lost so far: 14.0 lb.    Still to go: 130.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Yay!!! This way of eating is completely "do-able", but it's tough at times. Keep up the good work, Babe53!

I'll use your progress as inspiration. I just started Atkins - Induction yesterday. Great Job.

Melissa, I hope you are doing well and figuring it all out. It's not difficult, but it's definitely a way of eating where you need to plan ahead! I wish you all the luck!
