5:49 AM weight. I just figured out this morning that I can make a coffee, double foam and another coffee more quickly than trying to make two separate ones. not terribly sharp straight out of bed.

medium walk last night, it just felt good, no specific reason, maybe it was the feeling of escape. also met a giant puppy who is bigger than my beast and he's still fluffy and adorable and who doesn't love a goofy clumsy puppy moment? my dogs love him and they usually don't notice other dogs, so that's cool.

Gut experiment continues. Equal mix of soluble/insoluble and ate more non-salad fruits and veggies but spaced apart rather than meals. Notes for future reference for me on what works and what doesn't since I tend to revert to old habits be it general unawareness or schedule driven. It's mostly the latter, but net results are the same. Added squats back in when brushing teeth with left hand. Unimpressed? Try it and then try it with your eyes closed. It's an interesting experience. The brain is a funny thing. Numbers good, blob up a little this morning, but overall notching back down. Working on muscle again.

Someone took my favorite rock yesterday. It was bound to happen, but I go back and forth between regret and the knowledge that it wouldn't be as delightful to me in my yard. Captured the image, I hope there's a series. Memorializing it here. If she ever does Klimt, I may cave and spirit one away. Or not. I dunno. Maybe I should deliver a rock and put a sticky note on it? If you're into random art journeys, there is an app called Loupe that slideshows art via AppleTV by genre, color, etc. It's kinda cool and useful during pandemic days.

she's amazing, isn't she? I hope she does sunflowers at some point. what doesn't show in the pictures is how the texture of the rock comes into play on some of these
