It feels great to be down 7 pounds for my first week. I understand it is mostly retained "water weight", but it is still nice to see some reward for my hard work this past week. I think my starting weight was probably higher than it should have been, I had binged on junk food for the few days leading up to my diet start.

My body feels good to be eating healthy again. More raw fruits and veggies and less salty and processed foods give me energy and keep me from feeling sluggish and BLOATED.

This week I will try to continue eating right and keeping my daily intake below 2,000 calories. I will also add some light exercise.

I am proud of my first week and am committed to reach my goal. I am happy with the scale moving down 7 pounds, but am expecting my rate of loss to slow down this week. If I can lose two pounds this week I will be happy.
274.0 lb Lost so far: 82.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
