Nothing wrong, but the last 2 days have not been aligned with what I say I am committed to. So ive been looking at what was missing that might have made a difference, and what is missing that would make a difference now.
Ive discovered that I tend to eat more if I think the food might go off. My friend cooked a roast Tuesday night and gave me left overs. Wednesday night after eating an early tea, I found the left over roast and thought id better eat that or I'll have to throw it out, so at 23.30 I ate the left over roast. It was friggin awesome, as left overs are. But not only did it blow Wednesday's calories outta the water, it set up over eating my calories for Thursday. I mean, its already stuffing up my week, might as well have a chicken kebab for lunch on Thursday. And to top it off I hadnt kept my food diary up to date so those 2 days so I was guessing and justifying etc. What was missing was meal planning and tracking. So I filled out my food book and what do you know, calories way over.
I've discovered just how much I need to keep my diary up to date. I need the structure and accountability it brings. And that was missing.
So, it's 01.00 Friday morning, my food book is up to date, and later this morning I'll rough out my easter food plan. I wonder what a salad tastes like with chocolate easter egg sprinkled on it.....

the diary is a very important tool Wendy to know exactly what and whats not working for you...23.30 is not the best time to be eating amzing roast left overs...but it happens...good clean healthy eating is like a martial art and requires good training and discipline...it comes with time...and kebad...yum...i had one for lunch Wednesday...but i also did a 20k power walk and an hour of pretty hard home bodywright training...keep up the good mindset...it will pay off for you...

Yep what Webbie said. Mostly. ( but 20k power walk would kill me) Just update the food diary before you eat! Use it to plan your meals - I do this all the time, add and delete ingredients or play with the quantities until I’ve got the calories and macros right. It takes little time and there’s a huge payoff in knowing exactly what you’re eating.

eating at 23.30 is normal for me - I mostly work night shift but not uncommom to finish a night shift at 07.00 and be back doing an afternoon shift at 3pm. In fact I do that every weekend. For the past 3 years I have been doing a combination i=of nights and afternoons each week. That means my eating times are all over the shop. My poor old tummy never knows when the next feed is coming...LOL
