When I started trying to lose weight a couple weeks ago I was 298.8 lbs. In a few days I had droped to 295.3. Two days later I went up to 296.7, stayed there for a few days and then dropped to 296.0. Ever since then my weight has gone down every day. I am currently at 291.8, two weeks from the original weigh in. I wonder what the body is going through when you make a significant change in diet. It was almost like my body fought to keep the weight on, lose and then started giving up lbs like a bitch. I wish this could last forever (or at least until I lose 100 lbs). Since this isn't my first time at the rodeo, I know that the rapid loss will peter out and stabilize at 1-2lbs per week.

I am not exactly sure how long this will last though. I started out at the heaviest weight I have ever been in my life. I know that the extra weight means I burn extra calories and therefor I lose weight quicker. I mean this is why you see stories about 500lbs people who lose 250 lbs in a year, thats not the standard 2 lbs a week! I would assume that this will stop very soon, like say at 285. My hopes is that I can ride the wave all the way down to 270. If I could lose at this pace down to 270, that would be about 10 percent of my original weight and would make for a good start. If there was anyway to ride it down to 200 I would sign a blank check!

291.8 lb Lost so far: 3.2 lb.    Still to go: 96.8 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
losing 9.1 lb a week
