The Thursday heat class is definately more intense than the monday class. lol. I'm sooooooo sore today. XD That class made more of my muscles sore than I've had in months. Legs, arms, shoulders, abs, obliques, butt (lots of focus there, it hurts to sit down. XD) By the end of summer I should have the best looking ass on the block. lol. Sore, but definately happy with it. The scale isn't budging, but I know it will soon as my body starts to adjust to the workload.

Chris and Jules went to the gym with me yesterday too. I think Chris pushed himself too hard yesterday, he soaked his shirt with sweat and gave himself hiccups. :( It was his first time to the gym since he got home mid-december. He ran 2 miles, 60 situps, and I think he lifted some weights too all while I was in my 45 min class.

Jules did GREAT in the childcare room!! It was the first time she didn't want to leave the gym and didn't come running to hug me when I walked in the door. The gym recently went through some revisions and they hired and fired a few people. The childcare was one of the things that got re-vamped. The new girl is great! They also invested in some new toys for the kids. :) I feel much more confident about taking Jules to the gym with me now.

I think I'll skip the gym class, and focus on getting my walking in today. :D I need 2.8 miles today to be on track. So treadmill today at the gym, then I think I'll bundle Jules up for 2mile walks on saturday and sunday. The high is suppose to be 58-59. If it is, then we'll do some walking. Just wish she'd keep the hat and mittens on. :( Maybe walk to the little park, let her play, then walk home. I think it's about 2 miles to that park, and 2 good size hills to go up and down.

Meal plan for today:

Breakfast:
Kashi berry crunch cereal with almond milk
coffee with splenda and creamer

Lunch:
Sauteed garlic and herb chicken breast over long grain wild rice, with green beans on the side. Might make garlic toast too, not sure yet.

Dinner:
Dirty rice made with ground turkey breast, and might throw in some corn on the cob.

Snacks: not sure yet, I usually go by what I feel like. I have some great snack options, but yeah. ^.^ Usually: fruit, fiber bar, fruit and nut bar, protein shake (i'm highly considering this one), Tuna and light pringles, yogurt, skinny cow icecream cup, almost forgot string cheese.

Besides that I drink at 66-99 oz of water a day, and 2-4 cup of hot tea. I do like flavor packets in my water (favorite combo is 1 packet of great value lemonade and 1 packet of crystal light raspberry lemonade for 4 cups)

I tried greek yogurt for the first time yesterday, and it was sooo yummy!! I put a packet of splenda, 3 small strawberries, and some blueberries in it. Yum!! It reminded me of homemade whipped cream and just tasted like it should be bad for me. XD I'll so be stocking up on it now!!

Now off to start the day!! :D
268.5 lb Lost so far: 39.0 lb.    Still to go: 68.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Great workouts kiddo! keep those muscles hydrated and don't forget to give them a day or rest now and then. so glad Jules likes the gym care. That is so important, start developing those good habits now with her! jada-Glad you are lovin that greek yogurt. I usually use fresh fruit but lately have been buying frozen due to availability and price. I love it because I let it thaw or nuke for a few seconds which creates some yummy juice to mix into the yogurt. I also add some of that kashi cereal for some crunch or some flax meal for another protein bump and also good for the "regularity"! I can just see you beating Chris's ass at the gym...go girl!!!

Ended up not going to the gym today and focused on housework...and spending time with hubby.. ;) lol. The yogurt is AWESOMESAUCE! I'm not a big frozen fruit person, never have been it always tastes funny to me. But blueberries have come down in price some here, and strawberries are starting to be seen. Though they are 3 dollars a pint still. That should Change the more into February we get. :) And I don't mind a slightly green banana either. ^.^ But I'm mad about berries. I have never met one I didn't like. lol. The Berry crunch cereal in the yogurt would be really good!! Todday I made a snack out of a cup of yogurt, 1 gramham cracker crumbled, a very thin drizzle of chocolate (just enough to taste it), and some fresh sliced strawberries. I think in all it was about 200 calories or so, but my daughter helped me eat it. lol. And I didn't need as much gramham cracker as I used. But I will try the cereal next time and when I make it. ^.^ He'll get use to it soon enough. He's in fairly good shape. Though the smoking I know takes a toll. After the heat class I was all for going to Walking bootcamp. XD Jules was content in the child care, but Chris looked like he was going to throw up...so we ended up leaving for the day. lol. But I am planning to get out during the warmest part of the day tomorrow and get a good walk in, going to take Jules and maybe hubs with me. Depends on what Hubs feels like doing. Thank you for the comment Babs! and the cereal/greek yogurt idea! :D So looking forward to it!
