I had surgery last Wednesday and the Dr said I should have been able to do all normal activity by Friday. Sat all I didn't was walk around the park with my dog and I regretted that! Even today I'm still not fully myself. Everything's screwed up, sleeping is non-existent, I'm constantly trying to keep my energy up by looking for caffeine. I was giving that up pretty well but for now that goal is out the window. My husband is wanting to get on the health kick with me but until all these weird pains and weakness goes away we're gonna work on our eating habits. Despite Halloween being around the corner we haven't even thought about sweets. Drinking lots more water, less sweet tea. We treat ourselves to one soda a week. Icy cold Cherry Dr Pepper is like our comfort food on Sundays. He's cutting back on his carbs and eating better lunches at work. His employers always provide lunch for the guys and it's nice but sometimes too much. BBQ, steaks, fried chicken, Chinese takeout every day is SO nice but not easy to turn down.
