Katsolo's Journal, 26 December 2020

Giving myself five minutes to log and then moving on with the day because I answered the phone twice and now it's 10:00 already!!!! Swam yesterday, I counted 800 strokes even, watch counted 4,000 and some so we know that needs a reset. 10.2 METs, average heart rate at 152, and a good chunk in peak.

Ate off my normal for two days prior, so while I finished the swim, it wasn't awesome. Garbage in, garbage out and all that. Not to that extreme, but it wasn't a strong swim that felt awesome. The bump is primarily water and will go down tomorrow. Blob is actually down from the day before and muscle is up. Did some heavy lifting at whatnot at mom's yesterday, so I know it's real.

Walking dogs w/BF today, it's his birthday in a family of five kids. You know that had to suck growing up. I always try and get two very separate and distinct gifts to make up for it.

Anyways, celebrations over until next week (haha!) and we will start planning the paella between three homes. Going to require coordination because I need someone to buy good sausages and seafood for me because I'm not going in those stores! I have the rest or can get it easily.

And away we go! enjoy the day. it's chilly here, but clear and gorgeous. that Christmas Eve darkness made me appreciate the good days even more than usual. Going to try and swim out the rest of the year. I have to burn 607 calories for the rest of the month to make the award. I'm so easily manipulated by those rings it's almost pathetic.
