good morning, going to keep doing what I'm doing this week. no walk last night, ended up doing some late night work stuff, so just did some pulls and free weights. goal is to whittle away the blob and maintain muscle mass as best I can.

the instant darkness at the end of the day is not my friend, but I'll muddle through it. have a tentative date to walk with a friend in the park on Thursday after work. we'll have seven dogs between us, so should be fine, but we'll play it by ear. my back is well enough that this group should be able to hit some good heart rates. no canyons in the dark though. I'm accepting the fact that we're not going to be able to have puppy class for the rest of the year. I really miss that. I might organize a smaller group for regular pack walks. we'll just have to take up more space. all the holiday events in the park have been cancelled, so it will be different anyways. I'm thinking about sacrificing a smaller artificial christmas tree to place up on the roof this year, I have too much sun for a real tree and not sure how that will wear on a "real" fake tree either. my next door neighbor has a four year old and she watches my halloween lights come on every night.

Goodness that is a pack of pups! I hope you have a good walk. I'm glad the back is back to handling a swifter stride. A tree on the roof sounds fun!

I have an almost flat roof. it's a thing in SoCal. I don't normally put a tree up there, but why not?
