After working hard to establish good habits the past 6 months, such as eating breakfast, eating frequently through the day (every 2 hours, fresh produce, protein, eating greens) I'm slipping backwards again. I can see the difference in my body tone and face. Although I continue a rigorous workout at the gym every day, some say I need to take a break. I feel that my face has aged a lot in a short period, but attribute that to not getting enough protein and vitamins for the past 2 months. In December - May my face looked young and vibrant, now it's appearing more lined and a bit saggy. I need to commit to consuming more milk, more greens (which I love, but haven't been eating enough in general). I've found that I feel the best at 122 lbs. My desk job and a lack of motivation and a low budget has resulted in my healthy eating taking a hit (fresh fruit and produce with straight protein is my favorite; I was never an unhealthy eater (i.e. NO fast food, ever, and extremely rare snacks of junk food, like ice cream or piece of chocolate). I'm only eating a hard boiled egg, yogurt and maybe a banana in the a.m., then something minimal one time between 12pm-9pm, and then when work ends at 9pm, going home & eating at 10-10:30 pm. Even though it's small stuff at night (avocado salad, bowl of cereal, or both!) This infrequency in eating has always been my enemy until last fall when I changed my ways. Muscles are lean but have lost a little mass, so I feel slightly more scrawny than 'active/athletic' which I'd finally achieved for the first time since high school. Must rectify and get my healthy glow back and get enough nourishment.
