Katsolo's Journal, 01 September 2020

Thinking maybe I should just focus on maintaining/losing the rest of this month, will think about it. Basically going to be chained to the desk for about 10-11 hours through the end of September and a couple days of October. Not saying I'm not going to swim at all, but it's going to be hard to swim and walk so I'm going to focus on getting one or the other in each day and eating well (and keeping house somewhat organized because sanity). I do have to walk dogs in order to preserve furniture and walls in the house. Got 16/20 swimming workouts in August, going to shoot for another 16 in September.

Edit: Walking this back a little, went inside changed my jean shorts and put on workout pants. If I admit defeat before the month really starts, where do I think I'll be at the end of it? Duh. Fight harder.

On numbers below, I don't think I'm actively losing muscle or gaining fat overnight. This is why we look at overall trends rather than making myself crazy.

been there (working 10 hr days) it does make it challenging. the biggest temptation for me was to grab something , anything quick or snack on unhealthy things because I felt sorry for myself. if you're like me then maybe you could make and freeze some meals now that you can just microwave and store up on healthy snacks so you are prepared for those moments of weakness. you got this!

It sucks, because I'm almost chained to the keyboard. I work from home, so I do have mostly healthy food around instead of the vending machines. So lucky and thankful for that.

I can relate totally to being chained to the desk! I loved WFH! It does make food and exercise easier.
