Katsolo's Journal, 16 August 2020

If this muscle holds, I'm ecstatic. This is a big part of what I'm trying to do. Muscle mass has been trending up and I have been working it even with yesterday's deviation from normal eating. Back to normal for the rest of the week and will text nutritionist to see what her thoughts are to either focus on more muscle or cutting back to work on the blob which is also down. Crazy going up but not going out. Only been doing squats for three days so it's likely the bands and the weights and I'm betting it's really 91.5 lbs over a couple of days, but I'll take that, too. Anything that's a gain there is good. Fat loss is a secondary thought at the moment.

Yesterday was a pretty good day. Brunch with BF, afternoon with mom and gelato for dinner, but not a crazy amount. I wasn't home all day yesterday although I hauled a really heavy IKEA box for mom and helped her move some stuff along with washing the truck. Will swim a long one today with my new fins that are supposed to arrive. I could go crazy and try to do a whole hour on the faster current without any fins. That would be interesting, I'd rather just do a long strong and steady than a bunch of fast strokes to keep it up.

I’ve been doing crab walks in the pool after swimming. They’re brutal and I’m sure my neighbors have thoughts on those noises as well. 😳
