While this is “just” a .02 gain from yesterday, I did not meet my monthly goal for weight-loss. It “feels” like I worked hard, but when I analyze the data and review my food journal, I just wasn’t consistent with meeting my water goal, eating 2B style for weight-loss mode, and working out. The tracking and daily weigh-ins really are valuable data points that enable me to observe myself in a more objective light versus winging it and going with blind feeling that is often overpowered by my own bias. On a positive note, my body composition is really starting to lean out. I’m wearing shorts this summer...something I haven’t done for about 5 years - and they are size 8s from WHBM. It’s nice to finally fit back into some of my favorite pieces from my wardrobe. I also am loving my 🦵🏻 legs! I’ve always had muscular, thick legs, but this Barre Blend workout is getting them chiseled and lean. Overall, for the month of July I’ll give myself a C+. I ended the month +.08 lbs, but I’m trending at a lower body fat, have increased stamina during my workouts, and am fitting into clothes that I haven’t worn for years. Goodbye July...tomorrow it’s Hello August. A fresh start and another month to work on my 2020 goals.
