So, slow and steady...LOL! Yep that's me but its coming off. I started a "like" biggest loser...challenge! Last friday...I have a team of four people "good for support" It consists of my hubby, my daughter, one of my best buds from work..."good work support" and myself! We are ready to loose! I've also been trying to change my eating habits, by not eating carbs in the AM...difficult cause that's all I ever ate...who knew...LOL... Anyway off to a good start weigh-in here on wednesdays and weigh-in there on fridays...gonna stay off the scale the rest of the week...scale junky here...thanx for listening!
261.4 lb Lost so far: 9.6 lb.    Still to go: 61.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 1.0 lb a week

Slow and steady is good:) Sure we want it all off NOW... But it takes practice to learn the process that will serve us well for the rest of our life. TOWANDA!!!!!!

It's great that you have a support group. That helps when you are trying to lose. Cutting back on carbs might help. It seems that there's two types of body chemistry - one that loses by cutting back on fats and the other type loses by cutting back on carbs. You just have to figure out which body type you are.

Hi and thanks for adding me to your buddy list. I too am really lowering my carbs for breakfast and lunch. I am then eating all the carbs I want at dinner. Seems to be really working for me. I hope you keep your good start, and yes slow and steady always wins the race :)
