Ninette's Journal, 25 October 2010

Yesterday I messed up a bit. I had 2 cheeseburgers with mayo. Sincerely, I never knew how many cals a cheeseburger has. Even if I knew that Mc D' junk food is bad, I never "really knew" what those "lots of empty cals" mean as far as exercise. A Mc. D meal translates in 2 hrs. of exercise. OK, I did not have Mc. D, I went to some friends' house and they were cooking burgers, I actually convinced them to grill the meat on top of stove vs. frying it, and I wanted to have just the meat, lettuce, tomatoe and mustard, but NO... I prepared the burgers the way I like them... but let's see the break-down:
meat - around 300 cals
bun - around 200 cals (but it was white bread which I'm very scared of.. I think it triggers binges due to high glycemic index)
cheese - 90 cals
mayo - around 100 cals
(i do not count the slice of onion right now)....
AND THIS WAS JUST FOR ONE BURGER!!! I had 2!!!! Plus a beer (155 cals), plus I had some nuts earlier, plus 3 cellas chocolates, plus a vita water, plus 2 eggs and toast in the morning (which I recorded). So I had at least 2000 cals yesterday. Probably not too too bad, considering my poundage now.. but I am unhappy with yesterday's food because I felt a bit frustrated last night. I wanted to eat more, a lot more, just a short couple of hours after I ingested the burgers. Maybe it was a real reaction to white bread and high cals (not only the bread, but I had more than 1000 cals at once - high glycemic load)... or maybe it was just mental... anyway, I wanted to eat more... so what did I do? I found some "hypnosis for weight loss" on tube which put me to sleep right away! So cool!!! LOL OK, let's have a super day today!
btw - I did work out yesterday! :)
