When are you scheduled to see the nutritionist? Do you realize that 100 lbs puts you at "underweight" on the BMI? (BMI = Body Mass Index). You are/could be seriously putting your body through some major stresses. I know a girl who was about your age, who ended up in the hospital for nearly 6 months for being mal nutrition and underweight. She nearly caused herself a heart attack and several other serious organ failures. You need to be realistic for your height and weight. I do hope you take the nutritionist serious and eat a healthy diet that includes good strength training exercises, too. Have you ever battled anorexia before, or have family or friends who have? It's very scary and deadly. I'm not saying that you are, but you should be very careful about crossing into that line. Be REALISTIC about your expectations. You have ppl here that are worried for your well being. 100 lb is NOT a realistic goal, for someone of your height. If you want to live a long, healthy life, you have to find a realistic goal. Maybe you should focus more on what exercise and strengthening you can do to be in such demanding sports. A heart attack threat is very real in girls that choose to eat so little that their organs start to fail under the severe strains of not enough nutrients. The choices of foods all look great, lean meat, veggies, fruits, whole grains, BRAVO on that!! Calories enough to feed your brain and not rob your bones is vital. 1000 calories a day is nothing for an active girl of your age. You could be having twice that many calories while staying active and lose. Keep us posted.
