Edit: Swim #11 in the bag.
Edit #2: Walked dogs 2.5 miles and hung out with neighbors at an impromptu street party for a few with appropriate social distancing

Going to keep logging comments light. I guess this is good. I'm ordering a heavy bag from Amazon (or wherever is cheapest) so I can punch out any confinement anxieties when and if they arrive.

We are setting up schedules for work so that people can have breaks in their day. This is more for those that don't work from home normally, but I think it's good. Took me a couple months to adjust initially. For those that haven't worked from home before: Dedicate a space, take breaks; use a timer to remind you. Get up and walk around or any other kind of movement at least once every other hour, more is better. Get dressed, go outside and get sunlight (if the sun ever comes back) and fresh air. Don't eat at the keyboard. I won't say to schedule your meals, but make meals and snacks a separate event that is not part of your work. Find ways to talk with your friends during the day.

We'll get through this.

Friend, I cannot understand the schedule. It’s happening all over and the staff is just getting exposed instead of doing work from 🏡. ♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏💜💚

The schedules are for the people who don't understand how to work from home effectively. I could probably work 24/7 for the next few weeks and still not be done, but I get stupid and I make mistakes. Thankfully, I already know that I have to take breaks and separate myself from my work computer to be most effective. We had an impromptu staff call today and the folks who are really stressed are the ones who have never had to deal with this type of stress before. They needed to voice their feelings and frustrations. Hang in there, thinking about you a lot. From what I understand on the news, Amazon and others are bumping normal consumer items for those which are critical need. that's why I just cancelled my order. it's completely unnecessary for my survival and I don't want to have an effect on someone else's life, no matter how remote that might be. I have seen a ton of cargo planes moving in and out of San Diego, not much of any others, actually. Multiple DHL planes, there's usually only one per day. there was also a meeting with Mary Barra about utilizing some of the GM plants to produce additional respirators.
