Katsolo's Journal, 18 March 2020

I got in a solid swim yesterday. Did not walk dogs because I just didn't. I was tired. It's raining again, so glad I went out yesterday and caught what little sunshine there was. All five minutes of it in my case. I think I need to work on the lighting situation in my office. I have two skylights, so normally it's enough, but right now, it's not helping my mood. Not buying anything, will just need to look around and see what I have on hand to improve the situation. I hate being separated from BF and I worry about him.

I need to manage my foods better. Meaning, I'm not used to eating fewer veggies, but that seems to be ahead of us. Picked some oranges from the tree, they're tiny, but they'll do. I will likely venture out to the fruit stand later this week. More appealing than the grocery store to me. Open air, fewer people.

If dog food is a problem for you, consider reading the "Dog Dish Diet" in e-book form, which is a way of feeding your dog human food in a responsible manner that will let you stretch what you have on hand or replace, if needed, using common, inexpensive foods to get through this insanity.

Cats are not so easy, they need taurine as a supplement. Tuna addiction is a real thing and I don't have a book on cats, but I have plenty of food for them.

Ty for good info on our 4-legged friends! I used to cook a people food mixture for my old dog, but my new one doesn't like it and prefers kibble. So i did order more.
