I am at the end of one cycle of the Plan. This week I tested a restaurant by going to our favorite chinese food. I ate some homemade unsalted potato chips and homemade guacamole to offset the sodium content of the restaurant. At the restaurant, where I usually have sweet and sour pork with mixed vegetables, I decided to try some ginger chicken on steamed rice and with some sweetish-ginger-teriaki type of sauce. I didn't think it would be fried chicken! I had hoped that it would be cooked chicken like on the curry chicken. However, I ate half of the meal and only gained .7 of a pound -- which was impressive! The next day, I had a birthday party to go to, and made a Plan meal to go with the birthday cake. I lost the .7 of a pound, so I'm pretty happy because I feel like I have some control over my weight issues.
236.5 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 70.5 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
