It's upsetting to see the numbers climbing back UP, when I have been keeping a lower calorie count, overall. Then I realized that I keep retaining water, no matter what I do. I took Lasix, as prescribed, but all it did was dry up my airways.
I finally realized that I'm more than likely dehydrated, which always causes me to retain more water. So no more Lasix for a while, and I know how to make an electrolyte-balancing drink. Testing out my theory today.
Hopefully, all will go well, and this recent stumbling block of weight climbing despite sticking to my diet plan will clear up.
