ToniD2017's Journal, 23 March 2019

Starting 3-14 my goal is to lose 2 pounds per week for 4 weeks straight. Been basically eating OMAD with very light snacks during the day (under 200 calories all day) until dinner. By not eating full meals during the day I find that I don't eat as much at dinner time (I get full faster and with less food). So I made it to 2 lbs lost but it took 8 days (not 7 as I had hoped). But....since I don't eat as much at dinner anymore maybe I can "catch up" this coming week. We are going out to dinner tomorrow and that will set me back I'm sure (restaurants use too much fat when they cook) but hopefully I can overcome that during the week. I would lose more weight if I didn't have wine nearly every night but I guess I'd rather lose weight more slowly than give up my wine. I may have to just not drink wine Monday - Thursday to catch up. We'll see.
130.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 12.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Weight loss is not linear. Sometimes you may take off two pounds, sometimes only a tenth or two. The wine is not your friend during this process; especially if you are drinking most days. Have a glass or two MAYBE once or twice a week. I wish you success in achieving your goal. 🌞

I think you should be able to have 1 4-oz glass of wine in the evenings if that makes you feel good. sip it slow and really enjoy it. that can be worked into a weight loss diet.

Sunny Blu, Tonid2017 doesn't have much weight to take off. Once you get near your goal, every type of calorie/macro counts. I am living proof of that struggle. Less than 14 pounds to goal and it's been slow going. Everytime I throw wine into the equation, the weight loss stalls. I will incorporate wine into my maintenance program once I reach my goal. But I know it can't be an everyday thing. Just my opinion. Everyone must chart their own course. ✌️

Me too on the wine....i tried the m-th, and only have it on the weekend. the scale didnt budge on the weekend...only during the week. I am not on a fast track weight loss to lose in two weeks. 15-20 lbs to go at slow and steady pace. So if I do have wine once in awhile I know it is going to slow the process.

Thanks everyone for your support. I cannot believe I have been trying to get to my goal weight for 2 YEARS!! 2 YEARS!! I have been stuck at this weight and I realize that I don't have that much to lose but how FRUSTRATING. I am digging in deep now and I will get there in the next few months. I'm good with a slow but steady progress after this push to lose 2 lbs a week for 4 weeks. That will at least get me to fit into most of my clothes again and would be 1/2 the weight I want to lose then the other 1/2 can come off more slowly. I feel like a stuffed sausage in my clothes and I HATE IT!! Thanks again for your support....wishing you all the best in your journey!
