I finally lost a pound woo woo woo woo wooo!!!!! This is so exciting for me...ridiculously exciting actually. I've been maintaining at 189 since losing 12 pounds in May. I saw some fluctuations in the scale, but it always went right back to 189. In August, I finally felt settled enough to increase my fitness and started running regularly on my lunch break. I got on the scale one saturday in September to see 193 and it really depressed me. I've been afraid to weigh myself ever since until this weekend. This weekend, I was back at 189...happy about it, but feeling like "will I be this weight forever". This morning I am so proud to weigh in at 188.0!!!!!!!!!!
Besides the weight, the butt-gut and thutt and back fat are my problem areas. I am seeing flatness in my belly. I don't know if I was imagining it, but I was starting to see the makings of a butt gut before. I still have a gut, but it shrinking. My thutt always goes away within a week of running, but now I'm seeing some very attractive development/definition in the thigh-butt region. I haven't checked on the back fat, but I have noticed one of my side rolls shrinking. Pleasant progress :)
I even got checked out at Starbucks this morning.
