Good morning FS friends.

Up a bit from the weekend, and yesterdays "rest day". I just did homework, and never made it outside to ride. I was "sleepy". And it felt good just to relax.

Today, back to the grindstone. Back on the program! lol. I did not veer too bad yesterday except for an Apple Cobbler I made in the evening. It had lots of healthy stuff in it, of course the topping was sugar and butter based, so that is not too healthy. At least I knew what was in it.

So, in the land of cycling, last month I did over 350 miles/28 hours. That blew away my record by over 50 miles! So I am spending the time in the saddle. When the heat was here, I had to hydrate more using carbs/sodium/etc just to fuel it. Now I can look at cutting back the foods to do it. The issue is you cannot short yourself too much, or you will be unable to do it again the next day. Its a whole big balancing act. One that I am learning as I go along, sometimes the hard way.

In a way I have been fueling my bike rides more with food and carbs and gatorade, at the cost of my weight loss. I am sure the weight loss will come. My legs are making amazing changes, and they are big muscles.

Anyway, time for work!
