I think that’s the best way small losses each week, if you look at it the other end of the scale small gains each week is what put it on. It’s not a race the amount you lose each week it’s working perfectly well done 👍

Thanks Mazza and Paul, feel like I,ve done the hard bit just by changing what I eat, lowish carbs and fat, but keep protein quite high to avoid losing muscle, haven't done much working out but aim to start now and build more strength and fitness, I do feel so much better already, no aches and pains that I used to have. 😊

You’re welcome! I wish I could say I don’t have aches and pains lol. Once my body gets used to actually doing something I’m hoping it will ease up. 😉

I’m 50 soon David and I’ve been going to the gym since I was 14 on and off and I’ve always had aches and pains some from an accident when I was younger but you have to work through them, your doing so well mate and I know you will get to where you want to be. I have to agree with you protein In Your diet plays a big part It’s not like fat your body can’t sore it so you got to keep feeding it through the day in stages to keep those amino acids going. Well done keep it up 👍

Paul, I'm 59 next month, I honestly believe its the food we eat that give so many health problems, Processed food is full of all sorts of crap that cant be good for you. I joined a group on facebook called 'Ketogenic Intermittent Fasting', take a look at it, you have to agree to read the pinned post to join it.Amazing transformations on there. Its not your normal keto diet. Everyone gets great results following this group, can use it to gain muscle as well as lose weight, do yourself a favour and check it out 😊

Thanks David. I’ve just started the 5:2 but I’ll have a look at the macro calculator. I am new to dieting as I’ve was always slim until the agoraphobia kicked in. It doesn’t help that I’m 51 and my body keeps reminding me! 😳

I will have a look at it, I don’t really eat much processed food if I can help it anyway I eat mostly chicken, fish, steak with broccoli, tomatoes, sweet peppers, herbs, fat free yogurts, eggs etc.. and it’s all cooked from fresh. I eat protein bars and drinks but good quality ones but I do agree process food is full of crap.
