I worked my butt off this week! It's a little frustrating when you don't see the results you're looking for...oh well. Maybe it's because of my new workout routine. I could be gaining more muscle, which is fine with me, because I want to end up lean, not flabby!
206.0 lb Lost so far: 8.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 0.8 lb a week

hey! i can totally relate! I really upped the ante on workout this week, and don't have a correspondingly as big a change as I'd expected...but I imagine it's our body undergoing the change and adapting to the increased working out. Yes, I do think some of that might be adding to the muscle mass, but I have a feeling next week will be a big difference for you on the scale--and for me as well!! Keep on working your butt off--it can't hurt! (oh, it'll hurt but only in a good pain kinda way!)

Thats a great way of looking at it! I can totally relate to you though. Sometimes, i work so hard and expect there to be at least a three pound difference on the scale, but no... instead its only like one, or a couple ounces. Or, sometimes i *feel* skinnier, but i dont weigh any less than the last time i checked. Just keep going, and you'll see results :]

I lost .8 lbs this week, too! Yes, it does seem rather measely but it sure beats .8 lbs in the other direction! We can celebrate that fact. I would have loved to have had a proper body analysis done prior to starting this journey (but of course, was too darn self conscious of my weight to even consider it!) because it would be nice to really know how much muscle I've gained. I am sure you have gained a lot in muscle over the last few months so that will definitely make your scale loss a little off in reflecting the amount of fat weight you've lost. You're doing great and getting ever closer to One-derland! Keep up the awesome effort!

Aw, I hear you... yes, it is frustrating when we've put loads of effort in, but those scales seem to give measly results in comparison. But as I've kept telling myself all the way... anything down is a step in the right direction and those losses soon add up cumulatively. I know I had the same "problem" when I first started introducing exercise... you'll soon adapt again though and those scales will reflect all the hard work that you're putting in. You just keep up the great work there... I'm looking forward to another party shortly for another Onederlander! ;o)
