Aaargh. My nice even weight loss seems to have fallen by the wayside to be replaced with a series of day of 'extra' weight loss, in which part of what I lose has to be water, followed by a day in which I gain back much of what I 'lost' the day before. WTH is going on with my water balance?
258.8 lb Lost so far: 41.2 lb.    Still to go: 93.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

If you haven't already google "why the scale lies" for insight in to water weight fluctuations. If you are doing low carb, you can especially see a lot of water fluctuation. Eating too much sodium one day may cause the scale to go up the next. Many things effect the scale.
