May 2017 I weighed 137kg. I then had 3 heart attacks. Open heart surgery, bypass x5. Complications after surgery, spent a month in Cardiac ICU. More than one doctor told me I am extremely lucky to be alive. Discharged, weighed 95kg. Lost a lot of fat but also muscle in hospital. Started to exercise and gym every day. Back up to 104kg. Due to permanent damage to my heart my cardiologist wants me at my prescribed BMI weight, being 87kg. Got a Fitbit Charge 2 and tried out a number of dieting apps before deciding this is the best one. Glad to meet you all. Let's get this done.
224.9 lb Lost so far: 4.4 lb.    Still to go: 28.7 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

hi Jean, I read your post, please discuss optimal ketogenic living with your cardio. Many people with weight and health issues have found great assistance and support. I have this group and okl group and I stay motivated. Baby steps, soon I will adjust my goal. Good luck and welcome.

Hi Jean I had 3 stents last year. I have lost 19kg to date. This app is awesome. I am doing Ketogenic diet and my cardiologist is happy that I am doing Ketogenic lifestyle. I also go to gym 4 days a week.

Good luck! You can do this. I cut out sugar and carbs and have lost 10.3kg in three months.
