Went out to dinner to celebrate the marriage of some friends last night at Buca di Beppo. Almost everything on the menu is pasta either filled with cheese or covered with cheese or both served family style. Seriously a portion control, diet disaster. Tony and I shared Quattro Al Forno: Cheese Manicotti, Chicken Cannelloni, Baked Ravioli and Stuffed Shells. Ridiculous. Then someone ordered a surprise cake. Wow. Tony asked what it was like to eat something like that after how strict I've been with myself. I said, "It was good, but not good enough to be fat over." Lol. Can't believe the scale didn't show a gain today. I won't be taking my chances again anytime soon.
172.4 lb Lost so far: 11.6 lb.    Still to go: 45.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Bucca di Beppo is the bomb! definitely my favorite Italian place. I wouldn't worry too much about it. You know cheating on your diet for a day can actually be very beneficial to weight loss. it's debatable but a lot of people have sucess with cheat days. It has to do with leptin levels in the body which is correlated to your metabolism. Plus it's good for you sanity I wouldn't be surprised if you drop a pound within the next 2 days. You should take advantage of your cheat day by busting out some hard exercise tomorrow, your body will have a lot of energy because of it. here's a link to an article about it if you want to read it. http://www.rxmuscle.com/rx-girl-articles/5751-the-science-behind-cheat-meals.html

Interesting take on the cheat! I definitely think it is good to let up once in a while, as long as you keep in mind that you gotta go back... *part of your link is cut off for some reason, so I couldn't check out the article
