tephraim2's Journal, 13 May 2010

As you can see I have ballooned up again from 188 to 203 :0( . There are many things that have contributed to this. Not playing volleyball anymore, job stress, moving, & ending a bad relationship have been the biggest factors. I keep coming back to this losing weight thing, but for some reason I don't feel my head in the game as much as it used to be. I am going to try once again to get back into the game. I know myself and once i start the exercise, I really get into it, so I just need to start

I did sign up for some pilates classes so that is a start. Also, my roommate has P90x and i want to start trying that but to be honest I am a little intimidated. I have been an athlete all my life but it looks HARD. Has anyone tried it? What did you think?

Overall I am not feeling to good about myself and and the stress over the end of my relationship and having to move has gotten to me. However, I am now ready to MOVE ON from all the emotional baggage and get back on the wagon.

I want to go ahead and reach out and say that what helps me more than anything is the support I can get from this site. If you read this and feel like we can offer each support, I would love to begin a conversation with you doing just that.

Thanks you

OMG! I feel like I just read my own post. I am feeling the same way as you are. I've slowly gained so much weight and had the courage to weigh myself this morning. It was so discouraging but I finally decided that I will kick this in the butt again and start using this great support site to get back in shape. I've yo-yo'd all my life but this is the biggest I have ever been. I (like you) went through a very emotional time for the past couple of years but am ready to make a change. You can do it too. You've done it before. You know how to as do I. We just have to focus again. Once we take a bit off, that will jump start our motivation. I'm with you on this.
