Yay for the loss, boo for the challenge of keeping it going while wearing a boot the next couple weeks. I managed to play around in the water for any hour yesterday, but no serious movement as flexing the ankle is simply too painful. May try and craft a buoy out of some packing material I have, I can at least work my upper body out. Missing the Old House Fair, but not going is a huge step for me. Usually, I’d power through the pain like an idiot. 🤪. There’s always next year. I do have to try and figure out how to move some patio furniture from where I unloaded it though. Hoping it’s easier than I think. If I can use it for support, we’ll be good. No stairs, but need to move it from in front of the gate as it’s borderline dangerous. Will make the best of things and try to keep moving, but safely. Hardest part is going to be not being able to get to my tools when I know I’m going to want to use them.

Edit: Found a pull buoy online for $7, which is what they should be. Previously, they were all over $20, nope. Can’t run to the store right now; otherwise, would have just grabbed one at Walmart. But if I could walk Walmart, I wouldn’t need a pull buoy. 🤔

Also ordered a boot in my actual size, XS, yay. That’ll help. Keep tripping over my giant ten pound toe.
