Shanelle05's Journal, 17 July 2012

I haven't felt very good the last few days. I'm going to have a rest day from exercise today. Yesterday I lifted weights and did the manual bike for 45 minutes.

I have been so hungry the last few days... I keep going over my calories I set. I need to get my diet in check. I need to go to the store to get more healthy snacks but I am so exhausted.

My water goal today is to drink at least 100 oz of water. I've been slacking on drinking water lately. Now is a bad time to slack considering how hot it is outside. I drank a 32 oz bottle when I got up with breakfast today. 68 more oz to go.

On the plus side I keep losing a little bit at a time :) At last I'm finally losing. I should be out of the 230's in a week or two. FINALLY!!!! Now I need to exercise more so I'll start losing more weight.
231.4 lb Lost so far: 47.6 lb.    Still to go: 32.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Sometimes for no reason at all, that I can tell, my appetite goes out of control. I can eat all day and never feel full. It does make is more difficult to keep to my eating plan but I try to remmeber that is what got me to this weight and try to minimize the damage done. Stress can be a trigger for this.

Your breakdown for the last couple of days looks awesome! I wish I could get more closer to your numbers. Sometimes when I feel run down, I take a day. I sit in my chair and watch tv, snuggle with my youngest and just relax. I don't do the dishes and if I have to cook, I keep it super simple. I don't clean, I don't worry about anyone else... I just breath.

I found a great app for recording my water - it's called "Water Your Body" - I have an android phone, if they don't have it for the iphone, I'm sure there's something similar. You enter your weight and it tells you how much water to drink - basically half your weight in ounces. There's a graph for you to see your progress. It has really helped me stay accountable for my water intake!
