When I started here I planned to use this as a accountability and encouragement tool. I weighed in, introduced myself and planned on eating well, weigh ins about 3 times a month and gaining encouragement on my weak days. But what actually happened is I made a few bad decisions and combined with lack of willpower, stress and laziness it all snowballed. I gained almost 15 pounds. I threw my tantrum and cried and then after a few minutes my determination came flooding back. I thought about how much I hurt lately, aches and pains everywhere but especially the arthritis in my knees and back. I thought about not being there to have time with my kids and grandkids, the first of which is on the way. I thought about the plans the hubby and I have to travel and explore when the last of the kids are finished with school. I thought about how I can't even get life insurance to help protect my familys financial well being because they said I'm too fat to insure. Then I decided I was done, done feeling sorry for myself, done being angry and scared. I just want to be better. A better wife and Mom, a healthier version of my best self. So here I am again but this time with renewed determination.

I'm saying no processed foods, no sugars, no grains. these are things that I know cause inflammation in my body and intensify cravings.
I'm saying yes to protein, healthy fats, protein and minimal complex carbs from fruits, vegtables and beans.

I'm ready and it's starts today.
371.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 211.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
