So... today at 10p.m... yes. At 10p.m. I had a hunger attack as yesterday. But today I ate yogurt with granola. But it’s a second day in a row, it seem to be a consistent pattern and I have to know the cause. Have anyone any suggestions why I’m so hungry at 10 pm? The dinner I usually have at 7-7.30 (Greek yogurt with berries)

Probably your body has processed the carbs from the berries and yogurt and now wants another fix of carbs. Try the same dinner tomorrow an hour earlier and see if the time span holds the same 2 1/2 - 3 hours crash and craving cycle.

Oh, dear... sorry to hear this - but don't angst over it, please. Your body is probably requiring the calories spread out across your waking hours (16 hours or so). When you journal... try keeping track of the TIMES you're feeding the body... that way, looking back, you can "mark" when the cravings hit you... then move your feedings around on the schedule to fight it. Rooting for you!

From371to184, you mean that I have to dinner a bit later or you mean that with more calories? Usually I go sleep at 12am, so I thought that 7.30 is an optimal time for last meal...

Because you are drinking less water during that time of the evening so you don’t have to potty all night.

Another option is to save some calories for a snack at night, or eat your dinner later. I consistently eat a snack or a late dinner, and keep losing weight. I haven’t noticed any difference in weight loss from timing. Just make sure you keep your caloric deficit👍🏼

I don't know you or what your daily needs are tho I imagine if you lay around in a hospital bed all day that caloric intake is enough. I would bet bulianxr is right saying you arent not eating enough. Don't hesitate to eat a couple hundred calorie snack at 10pm.

Chrisw77, do you think that small snack in the late evening is a bad idea?

you could try eating something like carrots or celery maybe just as you get ready for bed. they could help stave of the late hunger?

Hungry at 10am, because your metabolism is working & burning the calories. If you go to bed hungry, you lose the 10lbs in less than 10 weeks!!

I have hunger pains at night a lot but I think of it as a good thing . It makes me feel like I've done good on dieting for the day. 😊

You got it! Being Hungry is tough, but the engine (body) is burning the fuel.
