Updated "My Bio" as a lot changed over the last 5 months due to an interesting surgery:


My foot surgery, ankle infusion, three joints becoming one, was completed late August 2018. This was due to multiple sprained ankles over my active life span, 50+ years. The Ortho DR said it will be at least 6 to 9 month recovery (4 months in a cast, 3 weeks in a boot). With 5 months behind me (no boot!!), I am at about 60%. I attempted running last week for the first time and it sounds like a duck chasing you. I have limited control on the correct (silent) landing process of my left foot and creates a "loud" noise. So much for sneaking up on someone!!


Overall, very happy with the surgery, but the first 3 months were painful and reaching the "10" level multiple times! I did say previously, "Time to buy a scooter" and actually rented one for 5-weeks. Funny, but it did help me get around with less pain and most people got out of your way.


New Goals in the next 3 months, plan to increase my foot therapy exercises as the lower leg has atrophy, multiple stretches and even running....haha!! Will try to Maintain my 170 weight level, increase Muscle Mass or strength & see if it is possible to reach 10-12% BF.
