I’m sometimes curious about strange things and today is one of those days. How can you gain weight when you have not had anything to eat or drink? It seems to defy the laws of physics. I think Air has no weight so it can’t be from breathing. Your cells can’t create matter, only transform it. Honestly I can’t figure this out. Does anyone know??
186.7 lb Lost so far: 15.4 lb.    Still to go: 16.7 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

not sure how accurate it is but I was told what you eat/ exercise one day may not show up on the scale for up to 3 days depending on a number of factors including your metabolism, your sleep habits and your lady cycle - if you're a lady 😂

What did you smell? I can gain weight by smelling things. Sorry, joking. I have not a clue

I totally get what you're wondering!! Good question. The other day I woke up, did my routine, and weighed myself. Then I brushed my teeth, brushed my hair and then for some reason stepped on the scale again before putting it away. The weight was 1 pound heavier! WTH?!? I think it's the scale. Who knows?

Maybe it's the scale? Needs new batteries? I use a balance beam scale that I bought used from a doctor's office - no batteries and I think it's the most accurate scale.

Newnbetter - you are doing an amazing job! Two days ago I jumped .8 pds (no way), then yesterday dropped 2 pounds. So many factors.

Because of previous things you ate or drank, the body doesn’t run on a 24 hour clock, different things take different times to digest and turn into “weight” in the body, such as poop 💩
