Day 2. I lost 2 pounds. Yay. That is encouraging. Yes, I know I shouldn't be weighting myself daily but I need to prove to myself that I can do this. I have a lot to lose, every pound less is a celebration as far as I am concerned.
I am working from home the next month until my crazy schedule begins. I need to stick to a schedule and plan my meals in advance so I can be successful and not make a bad decision due to not having a plan.
Today I plan to stick with lean meats and proteins, with a limited amount of healthy carbohydrate if I feel I need it. Yesterday I ended up eating 115 grams of carbs. I would like to eventually get that closer to 40-50 grams of carbs. Wish me luck! I will try to take photos of my meals to keep myself accountable for my food choices.
401.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 151.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Yeah, women need some amount of carbs for hormones. (I'm going really low right now just to try the keto thing.) Until recently, I had root vegetables or quinoa or beans at every meal, and was getting leaner anyway. Your body's wisdom will prevail. Thank you for posting meal pictures!
